Cymax sells inferior quality furniture which comes damaged and then you have to pay restocking fee. I have been emailing with Customer Service for 3 weeks. They told me to send pictures of the damaged items. I did send 3 pictures and it is not enough!!!!!! Horrible service, inferior quality furniture!!!! I purchased a bed for my sons b/day, I bought a orthodox mattress from another company in size full, immediately purchased his bed from Cymax, when I got the bed from Cymax, I noticed they had sent a twin size bed. I am in shock. David, a supervisor of Sarah hung up on me today. I was NOT unprofessional, nor did I use profanity. David actually hung up on me. I AM SO UPSET. I asked Sarah that an order not be processed because they could not guarantee delivery by my party. Sarah processed it, thus holding $1070 for 4 days. Cymax Poor service if you have to return merchandise for any reason. My reason was the items were made of poor quality. This company will charge you a restocking fee, an outgoing fee and in most case you will have to pay for the return shipment. It is almost impossible to speak to anyone in management and most of the people I spoke to sounded like they were from an eastern country such as... Read more

After I ordered I learned the item was out of stock for over a month. Then I tried to cancel the order and get a refund. What a joke!! After over an hour I still have had no luck, I will NEVER use this store again!!!!! Said I could live chat but no place on site to do so. Ordered a sectional off the Sears website which said sold by Cymax. Received one piece of the sectional...an armless chair...called Sears to find out where the rest was and they said call Cymax. I purchased an office chair on Cymax.com on 5/13/14 and as of 5/23/14, I was NEVER sent an email or tracking number for this item! After many calls to Customer Service...they finally told me the item is out of stock...and would not be available until the END of JUNE!!! Basically can't return a poorly made product. We ordered bar stools. The order process and shipping was fine. I bought an entertainment system from this company. It arrived fairly on time. When I opened it. It took 3 hours to find out that the product was defective. It was missing parts. So, I called the company's customer service department to arrange for a return. I placed the item back in its box and taped it up. I had been looking for a white metal headboard for a while and I finally found one at Cymax stores. I had a budget but by the time I paid for shipping, taxes, duty etc., I was well over and could have just bought one at Sears for the same price but the style was right.
