Bought furniture off Amazon through Cymax with 30-day return policy. After receiving sofa and loveseat I wasn't happy with quality and requested a refund. But they don't tell you about the $150 restocking fee. And try sending furniture cross country. It costs more than the furniture itself to ship it back. Don't waste your time. Not worth it. Terrible terms too. They grill you when you call to return about original packaging etc. Poor customer... Read more

THE WORST online shopping experience I've ever had. Ordered an adjustable bed base from Cymax, who was a marketplace seller at Walmart.com. Took 4 weeks to receive, and item was wrong. Wow! I still am unsure as to whether my lost order has been canceled or not. Truly the most horrible customer service I've ever encountered. Cymax blames the carrier for my lost order of 3 LARGE furniture pieces (seriously, did it fall off a truck or what?) , and the carrier blames Cymax. We bought a bed and it has been 7 weeks. Promised delivery in 10 days...we figured 2 weeks. Still not here. Every time I call they say that it just left the warehouse and will be 7 -10 days. The shipping company they use (Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery ) is terrible. Metropolitan only gas operators answering, no one knows anything. Ordered a record player through Cymax for my girlfriend and after placing the order I realized that it was the wrong one. She called the same day I placed the order and wanted to change the color. I received 1 email with shipping confirmation and a response saying that they could give me 10% discount if I chose to accept the order. This is the absolute worst company I have EVER dealt with. I have been ordering furniture online for 10 years and have been very pleased until CYMAX. I ordered a dresser in February, was told it had shipped. It has been three months and I still have not received the dresser. After several phone calls and a lot of run around, I find out its sitting in a warehouse somewhere. No one could explain why. I have since moved while waiting the 3 months... Read more

The frustration caused by the extremely time-consuming problems with not receiving the mattress was compounded initially by the very time-consuming problem with the broken day bed we received (BTW, it was mailed broken - the box was intact with no pieces of broken oak or screws in it and there was damage to 2 other areas of the side piece!!!) and the subsequent attempts to get a replacement part. First off, my issue is not (yet) with the dresser but with Cymax. I ordered this dresser over 6 weeks ago. They initially estimated 3 weeks shipping. I've called a couple of times and all they can say is it is almost to Washington. It has 'almost' been to Washington for 2 weeks. Perhaps it will arrive via stage coach. We bought a table from Cymax online. Once it came, it wasn't exactly what we wanted. And they try to trick you by posting a picture with chairs and table. But you have to order the chairs separately. When we called about shipping it back, we had to pay a restock fee, the original shipping costs, and pay ourselves to ship it back. We didn't even get close to the amount of money back that we paid for it. We will never buy from there again! I wish... Read more

I REGRET purchasing from Cymax!!! Horrible customer service!! Unprofessional to say the least. Hung up on, left on hold for unreasonable amounts of time. Not only that 4 weeks to "ship"?? Oh you forgot about the the other 3 weeks for delivery, because the shipping company utilised is even worse than Cymax!!
