Horrible Customer Service
Ordered a piece of Magnussen furniture back in December. Received first with a large hole in the back.
Sent another only to have damage in the same place. Apparently the shipping company does not have experience using thier equipment. It looks as if a fork from the lift went right through the back of it. They put some tape on it and tried to drop it my garage anyway.
Customer service for these issues are by email only. Horrible way to do business because your at their disposal. Then they send an email asking if I would like a new unit or a discount on the damaged one. I have to explain that I don't have the damaged unit as it was refused at delivery.
Second it doesn't appear you can replace it with another unit because my account is showing discontinued. They were unaware and it took them a week to figure it out even though my account with them showed this status. I now have 3000.00 invested and a suite that is incomplete.
Thanks for nothing Cymax. Never again.
Can no longer ship to Canada!!
I have ordered from this company before, with no issues. I loved it.
Living in Canada, it was great to find somewhere with a variety of items at a good price, versus the overpriced generic cheap stuff we get in stores here. Recently, I went to order some stools for my kitchen. I found that the Cymax.ca website loads only a :) on their webpage. I didn't think much of it, and headed over to Cymax.com and spent a couple hours, and selected what I wanted.
I could not select Canada as a shipping address. "Must be a problem with my browser or the website" I thought. I called in, and the lady told me they no longer ship to Canada!! I was so pissed off.
A CANADIAN company does not ship THEIR OWN MERCHANDISE to THEIR OWN COUNTRYMEN?? There is no mention of not shipping to Canada anywhere on their website that I can find.
But it alludes to how Canadian orders will be charged sales tax, and other information about deliveries in North America, which, (last I checked), INCLUDES CANADA! What a joke.

I ordered a floor mirror beautiful mirror!! Shipping was fast but I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM!!!!!! Ive called this company 3 times and they keep telling me to send emails with pictures of the items well ive sent the emails with the pictures ive called ive done just about everything and all i get is an email with a *** APOLOGY IVE GOTTEN 4 EMAILS WITH NOTHING BUT APOLOGY i dont want an apology i want this huge box out of my house.it has now been a month of me calling sending emails trying to return this item and nothing at this point they can shove that mirror up their *** and they can hand me my money back this is just straight up *** !!!!

The package is still sitting in our buildings common area and I have not received my refund
Did not receive an email receipt or shipping confirmation. After I called Cymax the following day to confirm they had my order that they had the correct address FedEx left the package at the bottom of our complex is stairs and blocked the entire mailbox for our building with the package. I called cymax and FedEx to tell them that someone needs to actually deliver this to my door which is the shipping address provided they basically laughed at me and said maybe somebody will be out within the next 3 days. At this point I decided I would open the package and carry the desk up one piece at a time as I cannot lift any kind of weight due to a medical condition.
Upon opening the box I realize they sent me an antique black desk which looks terrible as mine was supposed to be espresso colored(black).
I called cymax to explain their error and received an email this morning. They are now trying to charge me over $110 restocking and shipping fee after speaking with 3 different people and spending well over an hour of my time I'm with them last night.
Hope ur product arrives in good condition

I feel the same way. Canada has and always will supplement the states.
They are able to get great merchandise that we Canadians are unable to! And we also pay twice as much, sooo frustrating!!
